Our idea

We have now decided to do a band video, webpage and Cd cover combination. We decided to go with this idea as we have friends that live near by us that have formed a band and we think that it would be good to make a music video as it would both show our creative side. We will film loads of different shots. We have both got an interest in music and i write songs and i am really passionate about writing. It will allow us to explore the different aspects of the media industry with creating a website for the band as well as a CD cover and a Music video. This idea will give us a greater motivation into making the video as music is one of our interests and we listen to music everyday. First of all we are going to be researching on Youtube and finding examples of Music videos similar to the genre of music that are music video is going to be about and we will see the different shots that are used in different music videos, so we can get the inspiration and can adapt these shots and see what works and what doesn't work.
