Audience Profiling

This is James Davis, he is a 40 year old man from the midlands. He lives in the country side. His occupation is a farmer. He has grown up on his parent's farm. He left school after his A-levels and went straight into the farming world. He has always had the love of folk rock and has grown up with the love of this music. He enjoys putting his feet up and relaxing every night after a hard days work out in the fields. He enjoys watching very mainstream TV programmes such as Vicar of dibley, Only fools and horses. His favourite type of music is Folk rock/Soft rock. He likes the music to be mellow so that it calms his mood after a hard days work. The type of films that he enjoys watching are comedy films because he enjoys a laugh after a hard days work. In his spare time he enjoys walking his dog in the country side and reading the paper. He sometimes likes to do the crossword. He dislikes heavy metal music/screaming music. He doesn't like action films either as he feels that these type of films are very violent and he seems them as wrong. His ambitions in life is he wants to be able to write songs like his hero Willy Nelson. This is his who he looks up too. Willy Nelson's music calms James down. James also likes to practice his acousitic guitar in his spare time. He does really enjoy those comedy programmes such as 'only fools and horses' and 'my family' and 'the vicar of dibley'. James like to stay in and watch a DVD rather than going to the cinema. He prefers the comforts of his own home. He has a monthly subscription to 'farmers daily' and this is what he enjoys reading.
